A new book by Booreiland & Zeptonn has just been released! The Vormator contest started over two years ago. It challenges artists to create a visual by using a very limited palette of shapes and possibilities. Artists are provided with eight vector shapes, called the Elements, which they are allowed to use within a given set of rules. The goal of the project is to show the importance of limitations on creativity. Hello! Some of you might have noticed that I've been working on a project called Black & White Freedrawings. After more than 8 months of drawing, organizing, doodling and art directing the project is now available! The project is an unique exploration of collaborative drawing. Over 40 international artists were invited to collaborate on a drawing with Zeptonn. These collaborations are called "freedrawings" to highlight the lack of restrictions, themes and guidelines.
